New Balance Trail Running Shoes

Dear fellow runner, welcome again to my mens trail running blog, a blog for womens trail running too! This post is all about New Balance trail running shoes. One of the best, in my humble opinion brand of running shoes and especially trail running shoes.

Today I’m going to write a little about 2 types of New Balance trail running shoes, these 2 I’ve chosen because they’re simply the 2 best New Balance trail running shoes I’ve come across. In the interest of fair disclosure, I own a pair of the New Balance Men’s MT572 Outdoor All Terrain Trail Shoe or New Balance Women’s WT572 Outdoor All Terrain Trail Shoe for women. But I’ll do my darnedest to remain objective :O)

Okay, since I’ve spilled the beans, why don’t I start with the New Balance Men’s MT572 Outdoor All Terrain Trail Shoe. I love it, I have a pair of these and I’m thinking of getting a second pair too. I prefer to let each pair of my trail running shoes rest after a run for at least 24 hours. I think 48 hours is best. The 2 things I like the best about this my first of my 2 New Balance trail running shoes is the look and the grip. The look of the shoe is not only aesthetic but also crucial to comfort. I like the way that the mesh encases my foot like a sock. It’s somewhat stretchy so that it creates a very comfortable feeling. But more importantly, this trail running shoe has unparalleled grip. I’ve taken it along dry, dusty trails as well as along muddy, wet and slippery exposed rocks. I never felt my grip to insecure at all.

The second of my 2 New Balance trail running shoes that I like is not really a trail running shoe, though I’ve used it as such and it holds its own against the New Balance Men’s MT572 Outdoor All Terrain Trail Shoe. The running shoe I’m talking about is the New Balance Men’s MR1226 Running Shoe or New Balance Women’s WR1226 Running Shoe for women.

This is also a great shoe, but I don’t use it on the slipperiest of trails. Again, the first thing I like about this shoe and indeed why I’m a fan of just about all New Balance trail running shoes is the mesh they use to grip your foot. It is just unbelievably comfortable. The other thing that the New Balance Men’s MR1226 Running Shoe and New Balance Women’s WR1226 Running Shoe excels at is foot stability. New Balance uses a TS2 medial post and extended web for increased stability. And it shows. This is one of the best stability shoes I’ve run in.

Alrighty, there you have it. I think it future posts I’ll do a specific review of each shoe if there is enough interest. First choice amongst New Balance trail running shoes is the New Balance Men’s MT572 Outdoor All Terrain Trail Shoe or New Balance Women’s WT572 Outdoor All Terrain Trail Shoe if you’re a women. Hope this post was useful to you.
