Meditation transcends all boundaries. It matters not whatever your race, age, or gender is. You will still get the same positive results from meditation nonetheless. All it takes is the dedication and focus of the individual, to finally deal with his problems. Meditation is particularly useful for dealing with stress and anxiety, and helping achieve the kind of peace of mind that is coveted by everyone and could only be hoped for by some. In a sense it is not that difficult to meditate, but it in the commitment aspect where some fail to measure up. You cannot go into meditation halfheartedly and expect to get the results that you want or expect.

It would be best to look at each type of meditation first and see if it fits right in with your own personal beliefs and the kind of lifestyle that you have.
