You can make money blogging if you really want to bad enough. You can even do your writing in your spare time, as long as you have some. The key to making this work is to have a plan and stay very focused at what you do. Here are some tips to help you get the maximum out of short blogging sessions:
1. Burst Writing — You will need to get very good at what I call “burst writing”. You will need to get a lot of word done in a very short period of time by working in tight bursts. You can get a lot done and make money with your blogging, if you can master this technique. You just have to tune everything else out and strongly focus on your writing. It works very well once you get the concept down.
2. Work Off Of A Master Template — This one helps me a lot. Once you get a template or two down in you mind, you naturally become very efficient at writing posts and articles. A template is just an outline that is set up to have you write the correct number of words in your post that make good sense. Once you have a template set up and working, you can knock articles out in 20 minutes or less very easily.
3. Do Parts Of Posts And Articles In A Session — You can build posts a piece at a time. Do 20 titles in one session. You your intro and closing paragraphs in another session. Finish up the bullets in a third. I have found the occasionally doing posts in this “production line” approach really helps break the monotony and allows for high output with good quality articles.
You can learn to write in your spare time, especially if it is the only time you have for your blogging. You just need to focus on putting structure to your process, and you will be very happy with your results.
