So, you’re wondering what the best 6 man tent on the market is, huh? Well, I don’t know either, but I can tell you about the best 6 man tent I have ever slept in. It was an awesome spectacle of tent craftsmanship, and I am sure you will agree with me if you find yourself underneath a roof of one as well.
The tent in question is the Eureka Sunrise 11. I love this thing. First off, it is massive. It is the biggest six person tent I have seen. I do believe it could actually live up to its name and actually fit 6 people plus their gear. That is actually very uncommon. Usually you would subtract 2 from the name and you would have the right number of people that can fit comfortably. However, my favourite part is that it is 7 feet tall at the center. Seven feet tall! That means no more changing clothes sitting down or hunched over.
Now, you may think that something this size is hard to set up. While it can be difficult if you are going solo (why would you need a tent this big for one person anyways), if you enlist the help of just one other person, it is very easy to set up. Just follow the instructions and you will have it up in no time.
But I think the neatest things about this tent are the little extras it came with. Included with the tent were two cup holders, a floor organizer and a hanging shelf. I particularly like the bottle holders because I have had many mornings waking up to a spilled water bottle that I forgot to cap. The hanging shelf is also pretty cool, but I feel it gets in the way.
The Sunrise 11 is also the most durable tent I have owned. It has been through more than one small hailstorm and she is still fully intact. That’s pretty impressive if you ask me.
